Shenandoah Area Council contingent JSP, cannon on right pointing left, yellow FDL in center of states, yellow boarder, VA & WV on the sides, for the 15th (XV) World Scout Jamboree held in Kananaskis, Alberta, Canada. The theme was The Spirit Lives On. The previous World Jamboree had been held in 1975, as the 1979 Jamboree planned for Iran was cancelled due to the Islamic Revolution.
