Chief Shabbona Council 722 was originally organized as Dekalb County Council 722 in 1925 but changed its name in 1927. In 1931 it merged with Fox Valley Council 735 and retained the Chief Shabbona name but took the council number 735. Chief Shabbona Council 735 merged with Kedeka Area Council 113 in 1968 to form the Two Rivers Council 127.
