| Description | (none) | OA Membership Card. Design incorporated by 1988 at the latest. The OA subtitle was changed from “National Brotherhood of Honor Campers” to a header which states “National Brotherhood of Scout Campers.” The dominant “Sioux Chief” image is gone and the “MGM Indian” is displayed faintly in the background. The phrase “VOID IF NOT ACCOMPANIED BY A CURRENT BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA RIGISTRATION CARD” appears (and is carried on all membership cards until the 2018 redesign of the National OA membership card, when the phrase is removed.). The rear of the above card carries different lead-in text than the former card but includes the Obligation and Signature line like the former cards. (This entire text is kept constant until the 2018 National OA redesigned card removes all text except the Obligation and OA ID#.) The front of membership cards remain the same design until the 2000 National membership card redesign. |
