1998 NOAC trader pocket flap
History

The NOAC 1998 youth contingent members designed this two-piece set. The design process took longer than originally intended and by the time the artwork was sent to the patch manufacturer there wasn’t time to get a prototype to proof prior to placing the order to have the patches arrive before the contingent departed for NOAC 1998 at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa.
The patch manufacturer misinterpreted several details on this two-piece set. The arrowhead and MGM style Indian head on the pocket flap was supposed to be larger and be connected to the bottom portion of the arrowhead with “257” on it, rather than have this part be on the pocket chevron
