The NOAC 2000 flap set was designed by Bruce Paulson. The artwork for this set took longer to compile and digitize than originally expected. The result was the manufacturer misinterpreted the color of the bear and produced 300 sets for the fundraiser with a bear that was more gray than black. The 300 fundraiser sets were individually numbered on the back and were sold for $10 each starting at the Winter Banquet in January 2000
