"Previously, the X5a (1985) was received on a light blue neckerchief. The X5 was reordered in 1987 and arrived with more rounded corners. Two other versions appeared with the X5c having minor differences. The X5d however, has an orange background. The X5b, X5c and X5d patches were sold separately to be sewn on the neckerchief, which was provided."
