Hasinai was a Caddoan tribe. The lodge's totem is the wood duck. It was formed in 1970 with the merger of Neche Lodge #36 and Sioux Lodge #62. The two lodges were bitter rivals from the neighboring cities of Beaumont and Port Arthur. The lodge is most active in area events, hosting many at Lamar University. The lodge number was issued upon request as it is the Council number for Three Rivers Council.
