Section History

Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana (OKI) was a regional conclave of Three lodges from Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana; Shawnee #109, Zit-Kala-Sha #123, and Kiondaga #422 attended the event hosted by Z-K-S at Camp Covered Bridge. The other Kentucky lodges in existence at the time also attended this event including Walah Elemamekhaki #405; this was the only conclave ever attended by this lodge. The Focus of the meeting was to share each lodges' knowledge of American Indian Activities (AIA).
Only one OKI conclave was ever held in 1951; Zit-kala-sha and Kiondaga would continue to meet for IKI conferences through 1960 with Kiondaga being host.
